Nothing shows the loss of stability and power caused by pronation more dramatically than skating. Traditional rear foot orthotics prove ineffective in correcting this problem because skaters spend most of their time with their weight on the forefoot.

The additional stress caaused by the body trying to compensate for excessive pronation may be experienced as neck, back, hip, knee, ankle or foot pain.
